What exactly do you get out of blogging? I have had that question asked of me several times. Another favorite of mine is "why do you want people that don't know you, to know your business" well, for one thing, I can write about things that piss me off at work and not worry that you old farts here at work have no freakin clue. I can write about my feelings that I can't articulate and it helps me work out my problems without bothering anyone else that knows me physically and sees me day in and day out. I can also reach out and meet some pretty damn interesting folks. Someone asked me why I use the nick name Chameleon ~ is it because I lie about things? Well, no ~ I'm pretty truthful in almost all areas. I especially like to answer questions with answers so truthful that they make people cringe because they were seriously not expecting me to answer in that manner (I like to tell them "Do you really want to know the truth or would you prefer for me to just lie to you?"). I am a chameleon, but I'm honest about it. I have to be a chameleon ~ my parents expected me to act one way ~ in a way that was totally against my beliefs. There were others in the family that think and act like they are "perfect" and since they expect certain things, I usually will act accordingly ~ when I have to be around them. what they don't know won't hurt them, eh? They are prejudice, I'm not. they like country music, I don't....then the folks at work, well lets just say that they are all stick in the mud, prejudiced, old farts who don't believe that there is more than one way to skin a cat....much less worship. So hence the nick name Chameleon. Hee, I also hide my Dominant nature (BDSM) and my kinky nature of desiring to tie someone up and have my wicked way with them...because I don't think my children's parents would understand the bed restsraints I have hidden in my room.... Now, why am I blogging here? well I have been exploring a bit and found some pretty neat people that I think I'd like to read ~ however since they have a friends only journal, the need for a lj was apparent so Voila ~ here I am. I don't know if I will be blogging regularly here or not, but I promise to be on the lookout for new friends and will be checking folks out. So, welcome to the world of a female chameleon.
